RIP: David Dollin

I just got the word in e-mail from Leslie Wilson at WritersFest. We've lost the festival's signature bookseller, David Dollin. Some of you who live in Ottawa will remember him working for years with the local Nicholas Hoare Books location on Sussex Drive across the street from the National Gallery. I'd bought more than a few tomes from him in both of his roles.

Details here.

WritersFest is hosting a Celebration of his life.

Need a physiotherapist

Per the subject-line, I've buggered up my wrist (tendonitis, repetitive strain injury) and am in search of a WSIB-approved physiotherapist. Might any of you good folks have a recommendation? Feel free to forward or repost if you think you know someone who might have an answer. Thanks in advance.

Pet-sitting

Happy Canada Day!

For those of you who have used pet-sitting services like Loving Paws or Pawsitive Pet Care, which service would you recommend?

I have 2 cats and 2 rabbits. I'll be out of town for 2 weeks later in the summer and am looking for someone to come over, feed them, clean the litterboxes, play with them a bit, water the plants, etc.

Thank you! :)
