Anyone know of a grocery store in the south end that carries pre-chopped onions. Refrigerated, not frozen?
Thanks

I may be in the market for a stripper pole for my house in the future. Does anyone know where I can buy one?

My husband and I are trying to plan a weekend trip not too far away, in June, and for no more than $500. Either we stay very local and rent a car to tour around on the Quebec side somewhere, or our other idea is a visit to Kingston on the train. Could really use some suggestions though so I figured you wonderful and worldly folks might have some :) I don't know much about the Quebec side and we can't think of anywhere else in the nearby area to go (Cornwall?) so please throw out some ideas of your favourite places and it'll be a great help. Thanks!

Spotted this article on CBC Ottawa:

It put me in mind of several other such operations - in Ottawa and elsewhere across the country - that are pulling up stakes for whatever reason. Therefore, one wonders if there's anyone in the field who's decided to dig in their heels instead of quitting in the Ottawa area...?

The husband and I are moving in a couple of months to another apartment, staying local; does anyone have any recommendations for moving companies? We're moving into a one-bedroom apartment, no large appliances. We just really don't feel like moving furniture ourselves. (Lazy.)

Thanks!

Any recommendations for a good eyebrow threader? Location doesn't really matter.

Can anyone advise on where to get good quality plus-sized jeans in the Ottawa area?

Again, I'm looking for quality over price. All the ones I have bought at Addition-Elle use thin demin which wears out too easily.

Does anyone need a student bus pass for the month of May? I stupidly bought mine before I realized I won't be using it often enough to make it worthwhile. I haven't written anything on it, it's been folded neatly in my wallet since Monday.

I'm asking $60 or best offer (the full price is $75) so message me if you're interested or just reply to this post. I can meet downtown/in the Market/Sandy Hill.
